Temple of Fine Arts was established more than 40 years ago to make the Indian fine arts more accessible and relevant to a new generation. It is an established cultural institution where all arts, and the Indian arts in particular, are cherished, taught, practiced, and offered back to the community just for the love of it.
SIFAS is a non-profit Indian cultural organisation that has achieved a high level of artistic and technical excellence in the Indian fine arts. With a legacy of over 75 years, SIFAS has established itself as a key leader of Indian performing arts in Singapore.
One of SIFAS’ principal activities is to train students in the performing arts and visual arts. However, as a premiere Indian Arts institution in Singapore, SIFAS also connects the Indian Arts community and contributes to Singapore’s diverse and unique cultural tapestry through the production and promotion of Indian Arts.
SIFAS Productions Limited creates original world-class dance, music and theatre productions, that promotes the development of artistic talent. We present cross-cultural and multi-ethnic arts forms on the National, Regional and International level. We also develop works representing social integration and racial harmony.
The National Arts Council (NAC) provides a sustainable funding infrastructure through grants and arts housing support for the arts community to achieve a vision of Singapore as home to diverse and distinctive arts that inspire our people, connect our communities and position Singapore globally.
An initiative of the Tote Board, the Tote Board Arts Fund provides support to local artists and arts groups in bringing the arts to communities and creating shared experiences for people to connect with one another.
Active Ageing Centres and Volunteer Welfare Organisations across Singapore play a vital role in reaching seniors and caregivers in their neighbourhoods. We are partnering with AACs and VWOs to bring movement workshops, conversations, and dementia awareness into community settings where they are needed most.
